- How do I create and sell shop products (concierge services, click & collect) via elloha?

- How do I set the price, stock levels and description for a shop product?

- Do shop products appear automatically on my booking engine?

- How do I track sales of my shop products in elloha?

Why is this essential for your accommodation business?

Offering your guests an online or physical shop has three major benefits:

  • Increase your average basket value: generate additional revenue without any extra marketing effort.

  • Enhance the traveller’s experience: offer memorable souvenirs and thoughtful touches that make all the difference.

  • Promote your local area: become an ambassador for your local producers by showcasing their hidden gems.

Follow the step-by-step guide

Step 1: Start creating your product

To start setting up your new product:

  1. In the left-hand side menu, go to the Shop tab, then click on Catalogue.

  2. Click the ‘Add a product’ button at the top right of your screen.

Step 2: Enter the general information

Fill in the essential details to identify your product and organise your stock:

  • Product name: enter the name that will appear in your catalogue.

  • Selling price: enter the price charged to your customers.

  • Barcode (optional): enter this if you use a barcode scanner.

  • Label size: keep the default value if you are not printing labels.

  • Starting stock: enter the initial quantity to begin tracking your stock.

  • Stock alert (optional): set a threshold to be notified when stock levels are low.

  • Group (optional): select a category to organise your catalogue.

💡 Tip: Using groups allows you to filter your products more quickly during stock-takes or sales analyses.

Step 3: Describe your item

Fill in the descriptive details to clearly present your product:

  1. Enter the item title.

  2. Write a description detailing the specifics of the offer.

This description will be visible to your customers on your booking engine if the item is published online.

Step 4: Add photos

Include one or more images to illustrate your accommodation:

💡 Tip: Opt for clear, well-lit photos to reassure your customers and help make the sale.

Step 5: Manage your stock of services

Go to the dedicated tab to track the status of your items and supplies in real time.

  • Movement history: view details of past stock receipts and issues.

  • Current stock: view the quantities immediately available for sale.

  • Restock button: add new units to increase your stock.

  • Picking button: manually remove items from stock.

💡 Tip: Use these functions for your options (breakfasts, packed lunches, etc.) to ensure accurate management of your stock levels and avoid stock-outs.

Step 6: Configure advanced visibility settings

Expert Mode allows you to define precisely where your accommodation and offers should be displayed:

  • Booking engine: choose to show or hide the product on your online booking interface.

  • Elloha website: decide whether the product should appear on your website created via Elloha.

💡 Tip: Hiding a product from your booking engine is useful if you wish to reserve a specific offer for certain customers by simply sending them a direct link or a personalised quote.

Step 7: Save your product

Finalise the creation of your product listing by following these steps:

  1. Check that the information you’ve entered is correct.

  2. Check how it looks using the preview

  3. Click the Save button to confirm the creation of your shop product.

Your product is now available in your inventory and ready to be offered as an additional service to your customers.

Step 8: Create and organise your product groups

Organise your offering by creating product groups to make it easier for your customers to navigate your booking engine.

  • Click the ‘Create a group’ button.

  • Enter the key details: name, reference price and description.

  • Add an image to illustrate your group to your customers.

  • Check the final result using the real-time preview displayed on the right-hand side of your screen.

  • Click Save to make the group available in your catalogue.

💡 Tip: Use the real-time preview to check the layout and ensure the image looks appealing before finalising.

Once you’ve saved your group, add your products to organise your shop:

  • Organise how your services are displayed.

  • Simplify your customers’ booking process.

Key points

  • The shop boosts your revenue: it allows you to sell much more than just overnight stays.

  • Management is simplified: stock tracking and automatic alerts save you time.

  • Flexible visibility: You choose exactly where and when your products appear.
