📌 This article answers the following questions:

- How do I access my elloha inbox to view all my guest messages?

- Can I reply to Booking.com and Airbnb messages directly from elloha?

- How can I track the history of my conversations with my guests?

- Does the elloha mobile app notify me when I receive a new message?

Why is this important?

Responding quickly to a query can make all the difference between a casual enquiry and a confirmed booking for your holiday home. By centralising your communications, you:

  • Save valuable time every day by avoiding having to log in to multiple platforms.

  • Make your customer service more professional with a quick, smooth and personalised response.

  • Keep a clear record of all your communications in one place for flawless customer follow-up.

Follow the step-by-step guide

Step 1: Access your inbox

This tab centralises all communications relating to your hosting.

  1. In the side menu on the left-hand side of your screen, click on ‘Messaging’.

  2. View the history of your conversations from:

  • Your website.

  • Your partner booking platforms.

📌 Good to know: Messages sent by your guests via your website come from your contact form. (The ‘Contact’ section of your website.)

Step 2: View your received messages

This section brings together all your exchanges with customers:

  • Messages from your website: enquiries submitted via the contact form.

  • Messages from OTAs: communications from platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb or Vrbo-Abritel.

Even if you receive an email alert, you can view all your messages and reply to them directly from your elloha account.

💡 Tip: To be even more responsive, use the elloha mobile app! It allows you to reply to your guests in real time, even whilst you’re preparing for the arrival of your next guests.

Step 3: Replying to your guests’ messages

Manage your conversations directly via the messaging interface built into your elloha account.

  1. Select a conversation from the list to view its details.

  2. Type your reply directly into the interface.

  3. Confirm sending to communicate with your guest.

The elloha messaging system allows you to chat in real time or reply at a later time, depending on your availability.

Step 4: Centralise your customer communications

Access all your conversations from a single interface to streamline your day-to-day management.

  • Track the history of your exchanges with your customers.

  • Respond to new enquiries or booking requests.

  • Pick up an ongoing conversation without switching tools.

💡 Tip: Centralising your messages allows you to be more responsive and makes it easier to track each booking.

Key points

  • Fully centralised: website and OTAs (Booking, Airbnb, Vrbo) all in one place.

  • Optimal responsiveness: email alerts and real-time replies.

  • Simplified management: a single tool for all your customer communications.
