📌 This article answers the following questions:

- How do I change the price of a booking that has already been confirmed in elloha?

- How do I apply a percentage or fixed-amount discount to a booking?

- How do I increase the price of a service after the booking has been created?

- How do I offer a goodwill gesture without cancelling and recreating the booking?

Why is this important?

Having control over how you adjust your rates allows you to:

  • Reward loyalty: Offer a personalised discount to your regular customers.

  • Deal with the unexpected: Quickly correct a data entry error or adjust the price in line with a last-minute change.

  • Optimise your customer relations: A well-timed gesture of goodwill can turn a simple stay into a memorable experience.

Follow the step-by-step guide

Step 1: Access the booking you wish to amend

To view or edit a booking, follow these steps:

  1. In the left-hand side menu, click on Bookings.

  2. Click on the booking number to open the full booking record.

This page lists all the services booked and allows you to access the various editing options.

💡 Tip: If you’re not sure where to find a booking, you can read this dedicated article which guides you step by step.

Step 2: Access the service options

To make changes to a specific service within a booking, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the service for which you wish to change the amount.

  2. Click the ‘Actions’ button on the corresponding row.

This button allows you to edit this item in isolation without changing the rest of your booking.

Step 3: Change the price

Click on ‘Edit price’ in the actions menu.

You can then choose whether to increase or decrease the price.

Then enter the amount of the adjustment. This can be entered in euros (€) or as a percentage (%), depending on your needs.

The new total is automatically recalculated so you can immediately see the impact of your change before confirming.

This feature is ideal for applying a one-off discount, adjusting a rate following a change to the booking, or correcting an amount before finalising the booking.

Step 4: Save the changes

Once the change has been made, click the Save button at the bottom right toconfirm the action and update the booking record.

You now have all the information you need to adjust the rates for a booking according to each specific situation.

  • Correcting a rate.

  • Adjusting the price following a change to your guests’ stay.

Remember to check the final total before confirming to ensure your guest has a clear understanding of the pricing.
